The Cambridge Redevelopment Authority (CRA) and the City of Cambridge are revising the process for revitalizing the vacant Foundry building located at 101 Rogers Street. The latest proposal envisions the adaptive reuse of the Foundry Building as a publicly funded capital project with a mix of arts, cultural, educational, fabrication, and commercial activities. The project will be designed and programmed to be self-sustaining, with operational costs paid by the mix of building tenants. This new approach will allow for approximately 60% of the building’s space to be dedicated for community uses.
