The Pacific Northwest played a major role in pre-Prohibition establishment of the West Coast wine regions. Today Oregon and Washington offer iconic wines and distinct philosophies that set them apart from their famous neighbor in the south. This class will tour the wine regions of Eastern Washington, the Willamette Valley, and Southern Oregon. We’ll uncover the fascinating history and geography of these regions and taste exemplary wines along the way.

You can choose to take this course in person at Commonwealth Wine School or online. If you choose the online option, we will provide you with tasting lists so that you may purchase wine to taste along at home.
